My Rules

I have set myself rules that I must stick by throughout this drawing process:


1. I must work in sets of 9.

2. When producing a body of work I must make work in derivatives or multiples of 9 to ie. 3/ 6 / 18 / 81.

3. I will only use triangles in my drawings - they must be all of similar proportion based on an equlatiral triangle.

4. I must only calculate the lines with my eye and not by measuring.

5. I must use a ruler to do the drawings.

6. When using colour in my work I must stick to my crayon colour pallet;
     red, blue, yellow, silver, purple, turquoise, gold, pink, green.

7.  I must use conventional drawing materials of some form.

8. I must not draw conventionally.

9. Be open to new materials and ideas.
